Order Actions

Action Menu in the Order List

Each row in the list has an Actions button (far right). Clicking it opens a dropdown menu with the following options:

• View order — opens the detail page
• Edit order — opens the edit form
• Mark as Processing — changes the status
• Mark as Shipped — changes the status (with fulfillment validation)
• Mark as Completed — closes the order
• Cancel order — always available, even when stock is missing
• Set delivery date — opens a modal for date selection
• Set reminder — opens a modal for date and time

Status change options are locked (greyed out, not clickable) if the order is missing stock — the only action that remains available is cancellation. When you replenish stock, the options unlock automatically.

Actions on the Detail Page

On the detail page, in the right column, the same status buttons are visible at once:

• Mark as Ready for Production
• Mark as Processing
• Mark as Shipped
• Mark as Delivered
• Mark as Completed
• Cancel order (red)

If the order is missing stock, the entire action column gets an overlay that blocks interaction and shows which items are missing. From that view you can directly open Restock, create a Supplier Purchase Order, or launch a Production Work Order.

Shipping & Delivery Validation

When you click Mark as Shipped or Mark as Delivered, the system displays a modal that checks:

• Whether all items are picked and packed
• Whether a shipping address exists
• Whether payment is confirmed

If any check fails, you can choose Force status change — the order ships, but it receives an "Incomplete fulfillment" badge that remains visible until the physical process is completed.

Bulk Actions

When you select multiple orders (checkbox in the first column), a toolbar appears above the table with:

• Change status — bulk change for all selected (Pending, Processing, Shipped, Completed, Cancelled)
• Start orchestration — batch processing in the fulfillment pipeline
• Export CSV — export selected orders
